On Monday, August 28, Dr. Christopher Barrick will present a faculty saxophone recital at the Blue Lion at 7:30 PM. The program, entitled Personae Dramatis, features all programmatic music for saxophone. Programmatic music refers to a nonmusical person, place or thing - so each piece tells a different story. The recital will also include the world premiere of Charlie’s Imaginary Dream, a new work written by UAFS’s own Don & Terri Bailey. Dr. Barrick will be assisted by pianist Dr. John Krebs.
