University of Arkansas – Fort Smith students, faculty and alumni will enjoy a break from sales taxes the weekend of Aug. 5-6 when the university will participate in Arkansas’ Tax Free Holiday.

Rodney O. Parks, senior director of major and planned gifts at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Foundation, received the Crystal Apple Award by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education in San Francisco on Monday.
Season tickets are now on sale for the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith’s two annual lineups of touring shows and musical performances: the 37th annual Season of Entertainment and the fifth annual Season at the Blue Lion.
