UAFS Police to Accept Food for Fines
The University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Police Department is in the giving spirit this holiday season, launching their third annual Food For Fines program this week. 
Slate of Holiday Events at UAFS Begin Nov. 25
Area residents can get in the holiday spirit this month with a slate of free, public events hosted by the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith, including a campus lighting ceremony, a festive holiday concert and a meet and greet with Santa.
UAFS To Host Arkansas Scholarship Lottery and ADHE Nov. 22
The University of Arkansas – Fort Smith American Democracy Project will host a town hall with the executive director of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery and the financial aid manager at the Arkansas Department of Higher Education at noon Friday, Nov. 22, in the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center Reynolds Room, located at 800 N. 49th St.

Veteran Student finds Camaraderie, Support at UAFS
Air Force veteran Jana Aydelott-Leeper came to the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith after an intense career in the military as a weather forecaster and observer, looking to enrich her natural talents in entrepreneurship. The Roland, Oklahoma, native traveled to 28 countries while on active duty but returned home to the River Valley to earn her degree in a supportive, empowering community.
