Photographer, Professor to Speak at UAFS Nov. 27
Gerardo Jaso Nacif, a professor of the prestigious school Colegio Madrid and eco-photographer for the prominent Mexican newspaper La Jornada, will visit UAFS for a lecture at 11 a.m. Nov. 27 in the theater of Windgate Art & Design, located at 535 N. Waldron Road.

TEN Tenors to Perform Nov. 12
The TEN Tenors, one of Australia’s most famous musical groups, will generate “pure electricity and undeniable drama” during their performance at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 12 at the Fort Smith Convention Center, located at 55 S. 7th St.
UAFS Faculty Rappel to Raise Funds
Two University of Arkansas – Fort Smith faculty members helped raise money for a good cause recently when they rappelled off the Arvest Bank Tower on Rogers Avenue for a “Toss the Prof” fundraiser.
“Local Color Radio Hour” to Bring Fun to Van Buren Nov. 10
A night of live music, history and skits featuring University of Arkansas – Fort Smith faculty and alumni will take place at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10, at the King Opera House in Van Buren, located at 427 Main St., with proceeds being donated to local historical institutions.
“New Horizons Ensemble” to Perform Nov. 3
An acoustic ensemble of award-winning musicians will perform a concert of various musical styles at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 3 as part of the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith’s Season at the Blue Lion.
