University of Arkansas - Fort Smith graduate David Orick has accepted a teaching position at Clinton Junior High in the Tulsa Public School System.
Orick will teach seventh-grade Language Arts at the school, in addition to duties as the assistant football coach and the head girls basketball coach for the seventh- and eighth-grade teams.
Orick graduated from UAFS in May with a degree in middle childhood education with an emphasis in social studies and language arts. While at UAFS, Orick received the Academic Excellence Award recognizing him as a top student in his degree program and was also a member of the Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education. He is a graduate of Southside High School.
