The campus community at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith Monday may have noticed something unexpected when traversing campus over the last few weeks: a three-dimensional crosswalk.
College of Business students at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith were able to get a peek into the real world of business by participating in roundtable discussions with successful UAFS alumni.

One-Act Play Showcase to Hit the Stage April 26-28
Theatre students at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith will have a chance to showcase their talents as actors, directors and designers during the annual One-Act Play Showcase held at 7:30 p.m. April 26-28 on the UAFS campus.
River Valley Duathlon Slated for April 22
Shortly after starting as a professor at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith in 2012, Dr. Kerrie Taber was diagnosed with stage II melanoma. Since then, Taber has launched a campaign to raise awareness of the cancer, which is preventable yet is the only cancer that has seen an increase in diagnoses over the last 30 years. As part of this effort, Taber is coordinating a duathlon at 7:30 p.m. April 22 at Chaffee Crossing to raise money and awareness.
UAFS Student Research Symposium Slated for April 13
The annual Student Research Symposium will take place from 2-4 p.m. April 13 on the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith campus, featuring students presenting research projects they’ve conducted over the school year.
UAFS Season of Entertainment to Host “Cinderella” April 23
The Tony Award-winning Broadway musical “Cinderella,” written by the legendary musical duo Rodgers and Hammerstein, will come to Fort Smith for a performance at 7:30 p.m. April 23 as part of the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith’s Season of Entertainment 37.
