CLL Classes Available in March

The Center for Lifelong Learning at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith has a variety of classes available in March.


CLL presents lectures, short-term classes and tours to fill a wide range of interests.


“We are well pleased with the quality and experience of our instructors as they share with students new ideas, new topics and new beginnings,” said CLL director Jeff Adams of Fort Smith.


Topics of interest cover arts and crafts, computers, financial management, English enrichment, health and fitness, humanities, language/global discovery, lifestyles, photography and more.


Classes and lectures with a March start date or registration deadline are:


March 1: “Night Photography,” 6-9 p.m. Friday, $20. Tripod is preferred.


March 1: Registration deadline for “Dallas Overnighter,” trip March 21-23 three days, two nights, $459 or single pricing $609. Fee includes two nights stay at hotel and two dinners.


March 2-9: “SmashBooking!” 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, $25.


March 2: “Intro to Win8,” 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, $39.


March 2: “Interior Design - Textiles, Art and Accessories,” 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, $25.


March 4-11: “History of the English Language,” 6-8 p.m. Mondays, $20.

March 9: “Basic Cake Decorating,” 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, $39. Fee includes beginning kit. Class size is limited.


March 9-16: “EBay for Fun and Profit,” 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays, $55.


March 9: “Belly Dancing - workshop,” 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, $39. Fee includes CD.


March 9: “Cooking: Sweet Southern Desserts,” 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, $45. Fee includes materials. Class size is limited.
