WATC Open Houses to be Held Feb. 24, March 2

WATC logoTenth and 11th-grade students and their parents are invited to attend the Western Arkansas Technical Center’s open house Tuesday, Feb. 24, or Monday, March 2, both at 6 p.m. in the Reynolds Room of the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center.

The open house, which is free and open to the public, is an opportunity for parents to learn more about how their students can obtain free concurrent college credit at no cost through WATC.

Current WATC students and faculty will be on hand to answer questions and provide additional information, and several current UAFS students that were formerly students of WATC will be displaying examples of their work and visiting with prospective students. Refreshments will be provided.

The Western Arkansas Technical Center is an area technical center that provides free college classes in 10 areas of study for high school juniors and seniors in Western Arkansas. WATC serves 21 high schools in Sebastian, Crawford, Logan, Franklin, Scott and Johnson counties.
