Areas of Expertise: wrongful convictions, mass murder.


Mary Wuestewald is an Instructor of Criminal Justice at UAFS. At the university, she teaches on the topics of criminology, juvenile delinquency, serial killers, violent offenders and wrongful convictions. She has also presented, both nationally and internationally, on the topic of mass murder.


Wuestewald collaborates with the Michigan Innocence Clinic, a law school-based program at the University of Michigan that investigates claims of wrongful incarceration. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Oakland University, and her Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Wayne State University.
