Cory Williams has been the Fitness Coordinator at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith since January of 2012 after serving a two-year graduate assistantship at Arkansas Tech University in the Health and Wellness program.
Williams maintains an Aerobics and Fitness Association of America certification in personal training as well as being a member of the Arkansas Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. In 2012, Williams presented at the state ArkAHPERD conference. Over the past two years, Williams has attended both a national and regional NIRSA conference for continued education.
AT UAFS, Williams is responsible for both credit and non-credit exercises classes, personal fitness programs and assessments, special fitness programs (such as the popular Fitness Bootcamp program) and supervising the on-campus fitness center. In addition to his professional accolades, has a passion for all things fitness and sports.
Williams holds a master’s degree in health and physical education from Arkansas Tech University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in wellness science from Arkansas Tech University.
